The Pompeii archaeological site is UNESCO cultural heritage and, all year long, millions of tourist come from all over the world to visit this magical place and its incredible history. Among the ruins, you can see the ancient streets still intact, the Pompeii inhabitants houses, some temples as the Juppiter temple and some mosaics restored but that still preserve their ancient beauty.
Pompeii is the third most visited archaeological site in the world, with millions of tourists who, every year, come to admire the ruins from all over the world. The ancient Pompeii was discovered by a local farmer in the 1748 and excavated by the king Carlo III di Borbone that recovered under a layer of ash formed by the Mount Vesuvius eruption of the 79 a.d. al lot of items, mosaics, statues and paintigs, made by the romans. Most of this archaeological rests, are now preserved in the National Archeological Museum of Naples. Visiting Pompeii you can still admire the ancient houses, the temples, or the theater and the forum where the ancient roman civilization spent its life until the moment of the Vesuvius eruption.
